Soup for the soul - a spiritual tradition
The Women's Ministry has been hosting Soup for the Soul for over ten years. The purpose of this event is to foster a deeper spiritual connection in the women of the parish by hosting a speaker who testifies to how faith has guided their lives. Past speakers have included Estelle Glaser Laughlin, a Holocaust Survivor, Parishioner Renee Zorc speaking on her travels to India with Mother Theresa as a guidepost, Maureen Maher, a 48 Hrs Correspondent and Sister Alicia Torres, among many other inspiring guests.

2025 SPEAKERMark your calendar now for the next Soup for the Soul on Thursday, February 27. This year the guest speaker is Dr. Melanie Barrett, Professor of Moral Theology at the University of St. Mary of the Lake. She will present on the topic of Secrets of Successful Relationships: Spouses, Extended Family Members and Co-Workers.
As always, soup, salad, wine, and dessert will be served. Free-will donations are appreciated at the door.
