Our Mission
The Women's Guild of St. Joseph, as a women’s organization in St. Joseph’s parish, Libertyville, IL provides many social, spiritual and service opportunities for its members. It will unite the women of the parish in a community of service and offer each member the opportunity to use her individual talents. The Guild of St. Joseph will assist the pastor in ministering to family, church, social and community life.
The Guild is divided into groups called Circles. The purpose of Circles is to provide the opportunity for women to work in smaller groups toward common goals. These circles are divided by demographics and/or interest groups. Examples of Circles may be and not limited to are: Women 55+ with grown children and grandchildren, Women in their 30’s-50’s with young to adult children, Women aged 65+ with adult children and grandchildren, Women who work outside the home, Women with infants to school aged children, Book Club, Gardening Club. The possibilities are endless.
As part of the Guild, each Circle will have the opportunity to participate in various Guild functions. Circles will also focus attention to one or more charities of their choice through fund raising and/or volunteering.
