Messages From Father Trout

Part four pictures from Father Trout's sabbatical are from the Camino de Santiago or the Way of St. James, in Galicia located in northwest Spain. Father walked 15 miles over an elevation of 3,000 ft. and attended Mass in Ribadeo which is a city in Galicia.
 

Part three pictures from Father Trout's sabbatical are from Ireland's Holy Mountain called Croagh Patrick which stands 2,510 feet over the southern shore of Clew Bay. Tradition has it that it was on this mountain that St. Patrick spent the entire Lent of the year 441 in prayer and fasting. Father Trout made the tough climb.

Part two pictures from Father Trout's sabbatical are from Glendalough, Ireland, the valley of the two lakes, which is renowned for its early medieval monastic settlement founded by St. Kevin in the 6th century. Father Trout hiked over 8 miles to tour the countryside and to see the Cathedral, the Priests' House, the Round Tower, St. Kevin's Church and much more.
