A Letter from Father Emanuel

Dear Friends,

I am Father Emanuel, Associate Pastor of Saint Joseph Catholic Church. I want to share our RCIA (Rite of the Christian Initiation for Adults) Program with you. Perhaps you have not completed your Sacraments of Initiation such as Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, or are interested in converting to Catholicism or know someone that would like to learn more about his faith. I invite you to prayerfully reflect on if RCIA may be the right step for you at this time.

The RCIA program will help you prepare to receive the Sacraments of Initiation and learn more about the Catholic faith in an open and welcoming environment. The RCIA sessions also allow you to ask the questions you may have about the Catholic Church. You will learn what the Catholic Church believes, teaches, and proclaims to be revealed by God. 

Saint Andrew in the Gospels, after meeting Jesus for the first time, invited others likewise to encounter the Lord and “Come and See” what friendship and life with Jesus is about. Seeking to build up a culture of solid family life with a solid grounding in moral, ethical, and spiritual values, I am offering this program for those desiring to enter more deeply into our faith. It is a beautiful way to engage the Catholic Church and learn about many of the Church’s teachings, from Scripture to prayer, morals, and social justice, and more.
