As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one
another-as good Stewards of the Manifold Gifts of God.

THE
CATHOLIC EDUCATION ENDOWMENT
FUND OF ST. JOSEPH CHURCH provides an
opportunity to “employ your gifts in serving others” by helping to assure
Continued Faith Formation for all ages in our journey together. These
gifts can be direct bequests now or through a remainder contribution in
your estate planning with a Charitable Remainder Trust or Charitable Gift
Annuity.
When we contribute to an
ENDOWMENT
FUND, we provide a gift of property, income, or source of income, such
as stock, to a person or cause that is meaningful to us. An
endowment is, perpetual, designed to live on forever, with spending
limited to the market growth of the endowment such that the value of the
endowment isn't depleted, after inflation.
Our ENDOWMENT
FUND is a legally incorporated entity, governed by prescribed
officers, for specific and restricted purposes. The Articles of
Incorporation specify that the fund’s assets must be “used solely for the
Catholic Education of parishioners of St. Joseph Church, exclusively for
charitable, religious, scientific, literary, or educational purposes
within the appropriate IRS codes.”
Being a Good Steward may be sharing
gifts of stock, property, or cash with our ENDOWMENT FUND, with all
benefits limited to the education and faith growth for parishioners of all
ages.
We have all “labored hard long years
in the Lord’s Vineyard” through various ministries and volunteer efforts
to Catholic Education for our children, teens, and adults. What better
legacy to leave, than a contribution to our Endowment Fund, knowing that
its use will be well managed to carry on Catholic Education. This is a
gift that will continue to share your time, talent, and treasure with
future generations.
