How do parents, adults and HS students get involved?

LIFT events are well attended. On average 50-70 kids come for fun, faith and service. As with all organizations, we need adult and HS student input, managers and chaperones.

Sign up to chaperone an event you can attend. If every adult chaperones just one event - we'll be covered.
Join LIFT Adult and HS Support Members. The Members meet 3X a year. Each event requires two managers (plus chaperones). There will be a St. Joseph staff member to plan, attend and help manage each event.

	Want to get a better sense of what L.I.F.T. is all about? Take a look at what we've done so far this year...
	BAKE SALE Ninety kids worked together either baking at home, baking together in the Koenig Center, or selling goodies after Sunday Mass. This fundraiser of $1,200 will defray expenses for the monthly LIFT events. Thanks to all who participated.
	REACH OUT Parishioners dropped off winter clothing and Christmas stocking stuffer items. LIFT participants sorted clothing which was picked up by St. Mary’s in Vernon Hills to be given out from their clothing outreach program the next week. The kids also prepared Christmas Stockings for Catholic Charities.
	HAVE A BALL Dodge Ball, Other “Ball” games, ice cream sundaes. Entrance fee was a new item for a boy ages 6-11, 15-18, or girl 15-18 which will be used at the November LIFT event to fill Christmas stockings that will be distributed by Catholic Charities.
